Ultimate Rose Sash Window in Sturminster Marshall

Ultimate Rose Sash Window, Sturminster Marshall

This white Roseview Ultimate Rose sliding sash window was fitted in a rendered cottage in Sturminster Marshall by Kyle and Cam from our own installation team. The house has real character, with deep reveals and its original stone sill, so it needed a sash that looks right from the outside as well as performing properly inside.

The Ultimate Rose is our premium sash window. It has a slim 35mm meeting rail, mechanically jointed corners and run-through horns, the details that give a traditional timber sash its proportions. This one has Georgian bars in a six over six layout to suit the age of the house, with a discreet trickle vent in the head to keep fresh air moving without opening the window.

The Look of Timber, Without the Upkeep

Timber sashes are beautiful, but they need sanding and repainting every few years, and as they age they swell, rattle and let the draughts in. The Ultimate Rose gives you the same traditional look with modern double glazing, smooth sliding sashes and a frame that will not rot, warp or need painting. You can read more in our guide, why choose the Roseview Ultimate Rose over traditional timber sash windows, or download the Roseview sash brochure.

Kyle and Cam fitted the new window into the existing opening, sealed it neatly against the render and stone sill, and left the room clean and tidy when they finished.
