Peace of Mind, Long After We Leave
New windows and doors are a big investment, and you should know exactly what happens if anything goes wrong. Every installation we complete comes with our own written guarantee, an insurance-backed guarantee through HomePro and a FENSA certificate.
Our guarantee runs from the date your installation is completed and covers defects in materials and workmanship:
- Frames and sashes: 10 years
- Sealed glass units: 10 years
- Hardware, including locks, hinges and handles: 2 years
- Installation workmanship: 10 years
If a guaranteed item becomes defective within its period, we will repair or replace it, free of charge.

Your Guarantee: Questions Answered
What happens if Goldhill Glazing stops trading?
Your guarantee is backed by HomePro. If we were ever no longer trading, HomePro would honour your guarantee for the rest of its term, subject to the policy terms.
When does my guarantee start?
Each guarantee period runs from the date your installation is completed, and the guarantee comes into effect once the contract price has been paid in full.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. When the job is finished we issue our own workmanship guarantee certificate, your installation is registered with FENSA, and your insurance-backed guarantee is issued through HomePro. Please keep them all somewhere safe.
What is not covered?
The guarantee does not cover misuse, neglect or accidental damage, glass breakage, alterations or repairs carried out by others, normal wear and tear, damage caused by building movement, condensation, or failure to carry out basic maintenance such as cleaning the frames and oiling locks and hinges.
