Double Glazing in Westbury

Westbury sits below the White Horse on the edge of Salisbury Plain, where the wind across the open downs finds every gap in a tired window. Plenty of homes here, from the Georgian and Victorian houses around the Market Place to the newer estates, still have double glazing that is twenty or thirty years old. If yours are misted, draughty or hard to lock, new windows will make the house noticeably warmer and quieter.

Goldhill Glazing is a family-run window and door company based in Shaftesbury. We take on fewer projects than the big names so every installation gets the time it needs. Kenny surveys every home himself, and your windows are fitted by our own team from start to finish.

Around the Market Place, Westbury’s Georgian and Victorian townhouses are the homes where window choice matters most. Many had their original windows swapped for uPVC years ago, and that double glazing is now misting and losing its seals. Replacing it gives you the chance to choose something closer to the original style, and Kenny will advise on whether Wiltshire Council consent may be needed. In Dilton Marsh, Bratton and Heywood, the work tends to be more straightforward: newer houses that need warmer, more secure windows and doors, fitted neatly and with as little disruption as possible.
