Premium Windows for Westbury Homes
Westbury sits below the famous White Horse on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Around the Market Place there are Georgian and Victorian townhouses with real character, while the newer estates and the villages of Dilton Marsh, Bratton and Heywood have homes of every age. Each one needs windows chosen for the building, not a one-size-fits-all replacement.
Goldhill Glazing is a family-run company based in Shaftesbury. We deliberately take on fewer projects so every installation gets the attention it deserves. When you contact us, you speak to Kenny directly. He visits your home, measures everything himself and gives honest advice on what will suit the property, not what earns the most.
Recent work nearby includes cream aluminium flush casement windows in Warminster and a bay window replacement in Warminster.
Below the White Horse, Westbury’s Market Place is ringed by Georgian and Victorian townhouses, and these are where our Heritage Sliding Sash comes into its own. For homes with casement openings, R9 flush windows offer a traditional, flush appearance. In Bratton and Edington, older cottages often suit our Heritage Flush Casement, while family homes in Dilton Marsh are usually best served by our casement windows. If your property is listed or in a conservation area, consent may be needed from Wiltshire Council. Kenny will advise on that when he visits to survey.
Windows for the Market Place and Older Homes
The centre of Westbury is a conservation area, so replacement windows on older properties may need consent from Wiltshire Council. Kenny can talk you through the styles best suited to these homes and give you the product details you need.
Our sliding sash windows keep the proportions of Georgian and Victorian originals, our bay and bow windows suit the town’s bay-fronted homes, and our casement windows are a dependable choice for newer houses.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you cover Westbury and the surrounding villages?
Yes. We install windows across Westbury and nearby villages including Dilton Marsh, Bratton, Heywood and Edington, as well as Warminster and Trowbridge.
Can you replace windows in a conservation area?
Often, yes. It depends on the property and what Wiltshire Council will approve. Kenny will advise on suitable windows and the next steps during your consultation.
Which window style suits my home?
It depends on the age and character of the house. Flush casements suit cottages and period homes, sliding sash windows suit Georgian and Victorian houses, and our standard casements and aluminium windows suit modern homes. Kenny will help you choose during the consultation.
How long does installation take?
It depends on the size of the project. Many homes are completed within a few days, and we will confirm the timescale in your quotation.
Is the consultation free?
